Maurice Vergeer of the Netherlands Visited the Lab

Maurice Vergeer, a former regulator of broadcast media and currently a faculty member at Radboud University in the Netherlands, visited the Lab on July 4 on his way to a conference on computational social science. Vergeer has published widely on how political actors use the Internet during election campaigns and how journalists use the Internet in their daily work (http://www.mauricevergeer.nl/node/1). His latest work focuses on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media. The visit spurred several potential areas of collaboration between the Lab and his team at Radboud.
