Liang Hai and Wu Lingfei visit ANU

Liang Hai (right in the picture) and Wu Lingfei (left), both in the second-year of their PhD studies, are at the Australian National University (ANU) as visiting students for four months. At ANU, they participate in a semester-long workshop on social media research methods coordinated by Dr. Robert Ackland (center) of ANU, the founder of Virtual Observatry for the Study of Online Networks (VOSON). The two doctoral students will also work on collaborative research projects between their supervisor, Prof. Jonathan Zhu, and Dr. Ackland. The overseas study is funded by Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies at City University of Hong Kong.
