Four papers presented at the Second Symposium of the Chinese Journalism and Communication Consortium
Four papers of Web Mining Lab are accepted for presentation at the Second Postgraduate Student Symposium of the Chinese Journalism and Communication Consortium held on October 16th-17th at Communication University of China. The four papers are: 1. Zhang Lun. On the Global Regularity and Local Uniformity of Human Online Behavior: Exploring the Trajectory of Friendship Formation Behavior on Social Network Sites 2. Lu Heng. Sustainability of Blogging Behavior: A Survival Rate Analysis 3. Wu Lingfei. Allometric Scaling: A Universal Pattern in Media Industry and Ecology 4. Liang Hai. The Evolutionary Process of Repetitive Behavior: Decision Making, Social Learning and Incongruity Adaptation Meanwhile, Professor Jonathan Zhu is invited to host a workshop on how to write literature review at the symposium. The Postgraduate Student Symposium is an annual conference of the Chinese Journalism and Communication Consortium. The first symposium was held at City University of Hong Kong in November 2009.
