Zhu and Peng Received a GRF Grant to Study Social Network Growth

Jonathan Zhu and Winson Peng received a competitive General Research Fund (GRF) from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council to carry out a study on “Growth trajectories and causal mechanisms of evolutionary dynamics for social networking services (SNSs)”. In the 3-year study (2012-15), they will examine not only key structural and temporal properties of SNSs, but also behavioral consequences from the growth.
