Lab Members Participated in Ph.D Honours Symposium

The research members of web mining lab, including Heng Lu, Lingfei Wu, Jie Qin, and Chengjun WANG, participated in the Honours Symposium at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), 11-13 Nov 2011.

Among all the twenty five papers, 7 papers were from City University, 2 papers were from NTU, and other 16 papers were from two Korean universities.

Chengjun and Pianpian’s paper on online dating got the Top three paper award. The other two awardees were Rajiv George Aricat from NTU, whose research was on the use of mobiles among the migrant workers in Singapore, and Syng Pom Choy from Yonsei University, whose research was about CSR campaigns.
