Jonathan to coorganize a symposium on agenda-setting theory
As Director of Centre for Communication Research (CCR), Jonathan Zhu will coorganize with Department of Media & Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong an online symposium on Dec. 5 (or Dec. 4 U.S. Eastern Time) to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Agenda-setting Theory.
The theory represents one of the most popular research domains in the field of communication worldwide, with about 1,000 studies published during the half century since the publication of the seminal article (McCombs & Shaw, 1992). Faculty members and doctoral students of our Web Mining Lab have played an active role in this ever-growing research domain, as will be showcased in the forthcoming symposium.
You are all welcome to attend.
