Gao Jianbo visited Web Mining Lab

On November 24th, Gao Jianbo attended the weekly meeting of Web Mining Lab. Gao is a research full professor from Wright State University, and the founder of PMB Intelligence LLC. Now he is also a Distinguished Professor of Guangxi University, and the founding director of Institute of Complexity Science and Big Data Technology in Guangxi University. Prof. Gao got his doctor degree in Electrical Engineering (communications) in UCLA. He is broadly interested in developing new approaches for interdisciplinary (including bioinformatics, biomedical, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and ecological) applications by synthesizing signal/image processing techniques, information theory, control theory, statistical and large-scale optimization methods, and chaos and fractal theory.
